Associate Professor Michael Freeman is the founding Dermatologist consulting from The Skin Centre and specialises in cosmetic and laser dermatology.

Dr Freeman helps to diagnose and treat people with a range of dermatological conditions and contributes greatly to the field through teaching and research. He is particularly interested in advancing the use of specialised lasers, educating other dermatologists and leading more than a dozen clinical trials in this area.

Dr Freeman is a familiar face around many leading hospitals, including Director of Dermatology at the Gold Coast University Hospital, a visiting Dermatologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane and Associate Professor of Dermatology at Bond University.

A passionate sailor, Dr Freeman combines more than 30 years’ experience in the dermatology field with a friendly and approachable manner. He is highly regarded across the Gold Coast and further afield for his expert advice.

Specialist Dermatologist Dr Matthew Warren applies his extensive knowledge, compassion and expertise to the treatment of acne, surgical and non-surgical treatment of skin cancers and other skin conditions.

Dr Warren is highly experienced dermatologist. He completed his dermatology training at many of Queensland’s largest hospitals, including the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Cairns Base Hospital, Queensland Children’s Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane. He has also completed further training in cosmetic medicine and laser.

Dr Warren’s interest in medicine and dermatology came after a prize-winning research career in molecular biology, during which time he completed a PhD in meningococcal meningitis. He has worked in the US and published several articles in international journals. 

As a Senior Lecturer at Gold Coast University Hospital, Dr Warren retains a keen interest in ongoing professional development. Dr Warren is also an accredited visiting dermatologist at Pindara Private Hospital and Gold Coast University Hospital. 

Weekends spent enjoying time with his wife and children, playing cricket and soccer, and going to the beach help Dr Warren recharge, ready to improve patients’ lives through his work.

Dr Andrew Freeman is a specialist Dermatologist who is accredited to perform Mohs Micrographic Surgery. As well as the surgical treatment of skin cancers, Dr Freeman has a special interest in acne, hair disorders, full face rejuvenation and laser treatments.

Dr Freeman was the first Dermatologist based on the Gold Coast to perform Mohs Micrographic Surgery (MMS), a specialised type of skin cancer surgery that has the highest cure rate and lowest recurrence rates of any skin cancer treatment.

As a visiting Dermatologist at Pindara Private Hospital, Pacific Private Hospital, and Gold Coast University Hospital, Dr Freeman is committed to outstanding patient care. He is also involved in several innovative clinical trials for the treatment of dermatological conditions.
