At Bloc Skincare, we’ve always been about more than just great skin. We’re about heritage, expertise and care that spans generations. What started as a family dermatology clinic has evolved into a skincare brand trusted by many.
And just like skin, brands evolve.
Our new look marks the next chapter in the Bloc story – one that’s bolder, more refined and rooted in everything we’ve learned along the way. Backed by decades of dermatological insight and a deep understanding of what your skin truly needs, we knew it was time to bring Bloc into the now, without losing the heart of where we came from.

Why We’re Changing
Over the years, we’ve heard your feedback – on textures, results, packaging and everything in between. You told us what you loved and what you felt could be better. And we were listening. We heard you wanted a heavier moisturiser for nighttime use – so we delivered.
Our reformulation process began with one simple goal: make the skincare you already trust even better. That meant updating ingredients to reflect the latest dermatological research, refining textures for better absorption, and making our packaging more sustainable and easier to use. Our new packaging reflects a cleaner, more modern identity. It is sleek, minimalist and proudly clinical, but still approachable, like your favourite skin expert.

What’s changed – and why it matters
We didn’t just tweak a few formulas, we went back to the drawing board and asked, what does your skin need now? Then we rebuilt from there. Here are a few ingredients highlights to get excited about:
- Pro-Peptide Serum
Before: Our original formulation better known as Boost Your Youth Serum combined hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid with retinyl palmitate and peptides to support skin renewal and smooth fine lines. While effective, the presence of traditional vitamin A derivatives meant some users experienced sensitivity, especially on more delicate skin. The formula offered a solid foundation for anti-ageing care but had room for improvement in both tolerability and performance.
After: Now reformulated with a modern approach to skin renewal, our updated formula swaps retinyl palmitate for Bakuchiol – a natural, plant-based alternative to retinol that delivers similar benefits in reducing the appearance of fine lines and improving skin tone, without the irritation often associated with traditional retinoids. The formula is also boosted with an enhanced peptide complex, including Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 and Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4, to further support collagen production and improve skin elasticity. The result is a more powerful yet gentle anti-aging treatment suitable for all skin types, including sensitive skin.
- Heavy Moisturiser
Before: The original Hydrate Your Skin formula delivered lightweight hydration with ingredients like hyaluronic acid, green tea extract, and a touch of squalane. While it offered soothing and antioxidant benefits, its texture was light and best suited for daytime use or those with oily to normal skin types. Peptide content was limited, and the overall formulation leaned more toward basic hydration than deeper skin barrier support.
After: Now transformed into a thicker, more nourishing moisturiser, this upgraded formula delivers long-lasting hydration and skin-repairing benefits. Enriched with emollient-rich Shea Butter (Butyrospermum Parkii) and advanced peptides like Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7, it helps strengthen the skin’s barrier and visibly reduce the appearance of fine lines. Botanical extracts from watermelon, apple, and lentil provide antioxidant support, while ingredients like Sodium PCA and Sodium Lactate help lock in moisture. This luxurious cream deeply replenishes dry or depleted skin – perfect for nighttime use or anyone in need of intense hydration and rejuvenation.
- Medium Moisturiser
This ultra-hydrating formula is powered by a multi-ceramide complex, featuring Ceramide NP, Ceramide AP, and Ceramide EOP, which work in harmony with Cholesterol and Phytosphingosine to help restore and strengthen the skin’s natural barrier. Ideal for dry, compromised, or sensitive skin, it delivers intense moisture with Sodium Hyaluronate, Glycerin, and Sodium PCA, while Niacinamide supports an even, calm complexion. Nourishing emollients like Jojoba Seed Oil and Caprylic/Capric Triglyceride provide a smooth, comforting finish, and antioxidant-rich botanical extracts – such as Camellia Sinensis (Green Tea) and Australian Kunzea Fruit Extract – offer environmental defense. The addition of Palmitoyl Pentapeptide-4 gives a gentle boost to skin firmness, making this a deeply replenishing cream that not only hydrates, but also reinforces the skin’s structure from within.
