Dr Michael Freeman   F.A.C.D Dermatologist / F.R.A.C.G.P. / Laser Specialist / MBBS. (Qld)   Dr Michael Freeman is the principal Dermatologist at The Skin Centre, specialising in Cosmetic and Laser Dermatology. Originally graduating from The University of Queensland in 1979, he has more than 30 years’ experience in the medical field.  In addition to his position at The Skin Centre, Dr Freeman is the Director of Dermatology at the Gold Coast Hospital, a visiting Dermatologist at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane, and is an Associate Professor of Dermatology at Bond University.  While a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists, he is also a member of the Skin and Cancer Foundation of Queensland and an international member of the American Academy of Dermatology.  Dr Freeman holds several more credits to his name, including lead investigator in more than a dozen clinical trials, and educator for other Dermatologists in the use of specialised lasers.  As a passionate sailor and father of three children, Dr Freeman offers a friendly, familiar face to talk to in addition to expert dermatological advice.

Dr Matthew Warren   B Sc. (Hons), MBBS, PhD, FACD   Dr Matthew Warren is a specialist dermatologist and Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologists. Dr Warren has a special interest in acne treatment, surgical and non-surgical treatment of skin cancers, eczema and psoriasis.  Following his Bachelor of Science, Dr Warren completed a PhD in meningococcal meningitis. During this time he worked in a hospital in the USA and published several articles in international journals. After a prize winning research career in molecular biology, Dr Warren graduated from Medicine at the University of Queensland.  During his specialist dermatology training Dr Warren worked at the Royal Brisbane and Women’s Hospital, Cairns Base Hospital, Queensland Institute of Dermatology, Greenslopes Private Hospital, Lady Cilento Children’s Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital.  Dr Warren has published research in dermatology and is involved in ongoing professional development. He is an Associate Lecturer with the University of Queensland.  When he isn’t working, Dr Warren enjoys spending time with his wife and children. He also enjoys playing cricket and soccer.

Being born and raised on the Gold Coast, Dr Freeman graduated from medicine at Bond University then continued his extensive specialist training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, The Royal Brisbane and Womens Hospital, The Queensland Institute of Dermatology and The Lady Cilento Childrens Hospital. Currently he is involved in a number of innovative clinical trials for the treatment of Dermatological conditions and also an Associate lecturer for the University of Queensland.  Dr Freeman is passionate about Horticulture, Health Education and NFL (American Football). When not working, he likes to spend time with his friends and family enjoying the pristine nature that the Gold Coast has to offer.
