Skin Cancer at The Skin Centre.

The Skin Centre is located in Benowa Queensland and offers Skin Cancer Treatment by Dr Michael Freeman, Dermatologist and Laser Specialist.
Skin Cancer is something that everybody needs to know about, as prevention is just as important as the cure. Being able to recognise the signs of early skin cancer can save lives.

At the Skin Centre the dermatoscope is used to aid in the diagnosis of melanoma. Studies show that computerised versions of the dermatoscope are still inferior to the skilled use of the dermatoscope.

Many treatment options other than surgery exist. These include Photodynamic therapy Laser treatments and immunotherapy with Imiquimod.
